UNI-SOLARâ portable folding solar battery chargers convert
sunlight directly into electricity using United Solar Systems
Corp.'s unique Triple Junction Technology. UNI-PACTM portable
PV-modules are extremely rugged, and their unique design makes
them easy to carry and deploy.
Each UNI-SOLARâ solar battery charger utilizes United
Solar Systems Corp.'s proprietary Triple Junction thin film
silicon solar cells. These cells are made in a roll-to-roll
deposition process on a continuous roll of stainless steel sheet.
The result is a unique, flexible, lightweight cell.
UNI-PACTM modules provide power even if riddled with bullet
holes, or in partial shade. The UNI-PACTM can be dropped, stepped
on, packed and re-deployed, while continuing to operate. Military
units, hikers, climbers and professional photographers depend
on the UNI-PACTM for field communications, emergency power and
battery maintenance.
The tough nylon fabric covering of the UNI-PACTM allows the
unit to be folded to a convenient book size, for easy storage
and transport. |
Designed to meet military requirements for durability,
performance and reliability, the UNI-PACTM features a strong,
long-lasting front cover made of TEFZELâ (by DuPont).
Individual solar laminates contain by-pass diodes, making the
UNI-PACTM solar chargers tolerant of severe shadow or partial
covering.
The UNI-PAC 10 offers dual voltage charging for resp. 12 V or
24 V (depending on resp. parallel or series connection of the
4 lead wires). The UNI-PAC 15 and UNI-PAC 30 are for 12-V charging
only.
